Tiny, compared to Oolite ships, and definitely not much cargo space. A ton? Maybe two tons? Imagine how long it'd take, doing milk runs between planet surface and the main station to afford a reasonable upgrade.
@Fatleaf btw I've always known an escutcheon as the metal or plastic disc that covers a keyhole.
Escutcheon:-
1.
a shield or shieldlike surface on which a coat of arms is depicted.
2.
an ornamental or protective plate around a keyhole, door handle, drawer pull, light switch, etc.
3.
Nautical . a panel on the stern of a vessel bearing its name and port of registry.
A much over-used term

Tooooo many meanings, at least mine is probably the most common, thanks for clearing it up.
oops, derailed the thread again............
so than about the cobra MKIII.....
But that is the point of having them. To educate the masses. I also learn a bit when I research them. Each fact I want to put up will have some nautical connection. In line with us sailing through the 8!
Thanks Smivs for the further meanings.
