I think I've squashed most of the most serious bugs in the development versions of this OXP. So here is version '1.0'! The OXP adds various new Fer-de-lance models for both players and NPCs. One version of the ship is quite uber (and even the cheapest model is, in good Fer-de-lance tradition, expensive). There's a pdf document inside the download the gives details of the ships. Also included are two save files and a script which you can use to make various Fer-de-lances appear outside the station upon launching. To do that, rename the script file by removing its starting tilde (the '~'), i.e. rename it so that the name is (aside from the file extension) 'script'.
[EDIT: Er, fixed ANOTHER bug - a bug in (only) version 1.2. Sorry. The fixed version - version 1.21 - is at the same download location. I've done some tweaks, too. .]

looks great! Really neat idea to have a subtle hint of old school wireframe in the darker textured one! looks like it's a tough one too with those turrets!
Have you thought about using Oolite 'materials' to add some glow effects? That purple one looks perfect for adding some classy neon under lighting!
As to the glow (/'materials' - that's to do with 'maps', right?) on the pink one: yes, that sounds great; but I've already spent a lot of time learning (er, up to a point) how to do graphics and code. . . Is it easy to do?
Have you had a look at my texture Tutorial? It explains how to make emission_maps to give you glows and other lighting effects...it's really quite easy.
Commander Smivs, the friendliest Gourd this side of Riedquat.
There's a new version online (http://www.box.net/shared/moreq536ht). I've fixed a bug, performed a few tweaks, and, with Smivs's help, improved the graphics a bit. (In fact, Smivs was keen to do more than I ended up implementing!).
