[Updated RELEASE] ModHUD 2.0

Today I copied the standard hud.plist file to the AddOns Folder in a sub folder as an OXP. I appended a few items, moved others and basically reorganized the standard HUD. Mod stands for "Modular" and it could also stand for "Modified". It is nothing special to be sure but here it is:

Viewers can be frank, you cannot hurt my feelings. )

version 0.6 of Mod-Hud. 1024 x 768 but will support some higher resolutions.

There’s a hole in your picture, dear captain, dear captain.

(Your screen shots contain “tRNS chunks” that make the black parts transparent. Press shift-6 in Oolite to save a screen shot that isn’t horribly mutilated.)

Oh dear!. I did press Shift-6 to take the screen shots. Perhaps there is another explanation.
1) The HUD image has an alpha of 0.5
2) I used an image editor to crop the image due to the 1000 horizontal pixel limitation.

3) Maybe my display is bad

The zip file has readme and license. Final HUD appears as below and works with most screen sizes. Uses opaque images for directional control, compass, and IFF scanner.

Version 2.0 of ModHUD has been completed and deployed. What is different? It uses Thargoid's genericHUDswitch script to change the HUD based on alert status. I have added to this script to send the commander greetings from the station he has docked at. Get the full scoop at the wiki page:
