Missing Equipment

Post by TGHC »

I've not yet seen Q Bombs or ECM hardened missiles available for sale, even at Tech level 15.

Are they in OXP's or part of the main build.

They’re mainline in current builds. Availability depends on what ship you’re flying. Both are available to Cobra IIIs.

Been in a Cobra MKIII from day one, has anyone using Nic's latest installer seen any? I've a feeling they might be hiding with the space compass.

If your missile rack is full, you won't be offered Q-bombs or ECM hardened missiles. Get rid of a missile (fire it or sell it).

No problems here. I see them on sale all the time.

Are shield boosters available for the Python? I could've sworn I saw them at one point (when I didn't have the cash to buy them). Now after a few runs in the Python with full holds, I can easily afford them, but can't find them anywhere. I know when I was in the Cobra I bought them at Tionisla (TL12).

I'm running the second-latest Windows build (too attached to my OXPs to upgrade), which I believe is based on 1.60.

Thanks, I'm fully tooled up now

That explains why when I visit a high Tech planet, the shopping list is quite short, cos it only offers the kit you are able to install.

IIRC classic elite offered missiles etc even when your rack is full, it just wouldn't let you buy them.
