thanks to ahruman my joystick works now. but there is something that could work better.

i've configured oolite to accept throttle input from the throttle on my stick. that works ok, but the problem is that i can no longer control my speed using the keyboard (W and S). haven't looked at the source code yet, but my guess is that when the throttle is set up this way, it overrides the keyboard. i think it would be better to set the speed only when the throttle input actually changes, and allow keyboard input at other times.

also, i couldn't insta-dock at the lave academy by using shift-c, i had to use c and wait a while. not sure if this applies only to the academy or the main station as well. i intend to find out.

Insta-docking is disabled for all stations except the main station by default. (Prior to 1.75, it was always disabled for all stations except the main station.)

Insta-dock only works for main stations.

On other stations, SHIFT-C should do exactly the same as C, namely start the long docking sequence, provided you have targeted the station first.

I am pondering whether to add insta-dock to it and make it 1.75 only (as I have another thought for a script change in that OXP which will also make it 1.75 only). But it's not certain, simply as I would have thought anyone could dock with LA as it's designed to be trivial to do.
