I've tried a search of the board but couldn't find anything that answers my question, which is "can anybody recommend a Mac HTML editor?". Doesn't need to be anything fancy, just need it to help me maintain and make any small changes needed on my club's website.
I know a couple have been suggested for editing plists but would they be sufficient?
Thanks in advance.

If it is for small changes, I would seriously suggest vi. If you dont know how to use it, it is easy to learn, and you can learn the relevant HTML in next to no time.

Re: Recommended Mac HTML/website editor??
I have worked with HTML-format, a Java-based, platform-independent, shareware HTML editor.
It seems to be no longer in development, though (I'm using v 8 beta from 2005, and there doesn't seem to have happened a lot since).

Apart from the somewhat minimalist TextWrangler (the free version of BBEdit), you could go for smultron, either as a $4.99 mac store app for the latest version, or you could get its last free incarnation courtesy of sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/smultron/
edit: there is a further Open Source update to smultron - for OS 10.6 - called Fraise: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/33751/fraise
Personally I really like TextMate too: it's one of the best text editors you could get, but comes with a $50 pricetag.
