I really like to say 'thank you' to all developers. And by seeing the impressive list of changes, tweaks and new features it's like christmas .-)

Same here - I was going to congratulate Ahruman and the rest of the guys until I realised Ahruman had worked his Adminstrator magic on the thread...

An impressive list of additional features and improvements.

In a sense, this is a failure; 1.75 was originally the target for MNSR. After that, it became the target for a relatively quick update of a few key things after 1.74 – mainly the JavaScript engine update and the planet textures fix. Definitely not an eight-month project.

Of course, we’re happy to soak in your adulation anyway. ;-)

Want more? The planets are looking great!

And the new JS engine performance is pretty cool.

<sighs contentedly>
All is well in my Ooniverse... thanks guys! The Free Mexican Airforce is flying tonight!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

A big thanks from me as well!

Incidentally, I have prepared some [EliteWiki] fireworks for all you developers. Please take a little time and enjoy! :D

For those who don't get chance to play much - any chance of a (promotional) video from somebody?

I must investigate some vid capture software one day, but I know zilch about it.

I don’t have Oolite installed here, but I’m sure that with the lower-overhead, properly-volumetric particle effects in 1.75 it looks great. :-)

They're not escorts. They're the fireworkers. :wink:

When I first used it, I was at a system with the station in the planets shade. So, I had a quite dark background. The effect was at its best there :wink:
