This OXP adds a fun mission to the lonelinest system of the oouniverse, Oresrati. If you find a way to reach Oresrati, this mission offers a way out of the galaxy 8.
Sorry about the commanders that are going be a pirate during this mission.
The rate of OXP releases means that the forum expansions page only has them for a relatively short time on the front page. (For example as of now, I see only as far back as Jan 26 without going to page 2.)
Those are beta releases. So if they pass the beta tests I will try to add them to wiki. But during the time if some one can add those to wiki under development OXP's, that will be apreciated.
Small thing - you've spelled my name as "Mauly de Fug", rather than "Mauiby de Fug"...
Hmm... Oolite Portal... A portal gun would be fairly easy to create, methinks! Hack together a special type of jump gate, activated/launched by either missiles or the 1.75 special equipment key. Using it effectively, however, might be slightly awkward whilst flying a space ship, and I can't think of a situation where one would be useful...

Hi Okti,
I can do that if you provide for your OXPs :
1. Name and brief description (max roughly 140 chars) eg. OresratiChalange v0.0 adds a fun mission to the loneliest system of the oouniverse, Oresrati, offering a way out of galaxy 8.
2. Category (see top of http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/OXP_List)
3. Author(s)
4. Release Date
5. Any url(s) for your OXPs
When you are happy, you can then promote your OXPs to the main list and remove them from the Works in Progress.

If you don't have a wiki account, you can request one from Selezen or Ahruman as I recall. (Someone correct me if I am wrong.)
Winston is your man And probably one of the guys you mentioned.
Cheers,
Mike

Sorry if I'm being a bit pedantic, but should it be Oresrati Challenge?
Also v0.0 looks a bit odd. Normally a beta release might be v0.9 or something, then the first full release is v1.0.
You are absolutely right. I Blame my English Teacher for not teaching me how to spell Challenge.
On the other hand we programmers do not write novels. So names of the OXP's or internal variables in the programs does not always follow the rules. I will try to change the name of the OXP to a proper one in release V1.0.

Thanks any way for correcting my spelling.
I'm writing a novel - but alas my programming days are long behind me now...
Hi Okti,
just a thought.
A player arriving at Oresrati with either a galactic Hyperdrive or a GalDrivePod has this equipment removed to allow them to complete your excellent mission, but as far as I can see they are not told of this which seems a bit unfair.
Could I suggest you add a console message telling the player, and maybe even expand on this a bit.
For example at TL4 worlds like Oresrati, only a few pieces of equipment are available, one of which is the very useful ECM. What I'm thinking is that you could simulate a problem exiting the jump into Oresrati System which destroys equipment. On exiting witchspace a console message could read "Warning:Hyperspace turbulence." followed by another message "Galactic Hyperdrive/GalDrivePod and ECM destroyed".
It should be easy to code this so that only the equipment fitted to the player ship is mentioned and removed, and by including the ECM (which can be re-purchased) this adds another dimension to the mission, a run to the planet with no ECM protection.
Commander Smivs, the friendliest Gourd this side of Riedquat.
That can be easily done. Any more interesting Idea?
Actualy I think if I can get Kaks's permission I want to use his idea about ship to ship comunications which pagroove offered me to work on. Than I think we will need a thread to brain storm.
