Twice in Elite, thrice in Elite+… and now in Oolite, and this one is by far the most satisfying. I took my time and made it a long, leisurely cruise, meandering my way through three and a half circuits, over two shipyears, exploring nearly every backwater of the eight. Some game… many thanks to all involved.

Do you mean on the F5 screen, or on the instrument panel?

In the Fighter Hud OXP, there is a .png image of the instrument panel. Open that in GIMP or any other decent graphics app and simply add (or alter) what you wish. You don’t need to be an expert (I'm not)… it’s quite straightforward. Save the png and it's done.

First, Hats off El Viejo! Much respect! Ive never made Elite myself, so its heartening to hear of other commanders making it to that honored position. Maybe one day. Now, I'm sure I have a thing of Riedquat ale stashed around here somewhere....

Oh, and... a leisurely cruise through my favorite anarchy system.

Considering the state of your shields, that doesn't even seem sporting of you.

True, but I died shortly after. That particular target was a Moray, the next was an Asp with a hardhead missle. :|

I'm sure there is a moral in there somewhere.

Seeing your current wealth, your main issue is not to find it, but to afford it. It's by far the most expensive standard equipment of the game, setting you back a whopping 47550 credits!

It's getting tough out there... even convoys are travelling in convoy. Three convoys (a Boa 2 and two Anacondas, if memory serves me, with six escorts each) in very close formation... I buzzed them for a while, then let them be. It would have been rich pickings (and a difficult challenge) if I'd been a pirate.

And you'd need a whopping cargo hold with space to collect all the goodies, unless of course you have a homing beacon.
