Damn! We’ll have to do something about these discs we’ve been using. That’ll push back MNSR another six months.

PLEASE AHRUMAN?????????????

Seriously, I would LOVE to get spherical suns (and therefore textured) but figured it was Post-MNSR at best.

Don't worry, NASA is lying again, just like they did with the moon landings.
Ahruman knows this of course. The Oolite Ooniverse can't be wrong, such a claim would be, be blasphemous and outrageous.
Just isn't true.

No, we don't, because on second thought it's a lie. NASA cannot possibly claim that the sun is a sphere by putting two satellites in orbits exactly opposite each other. Obviously the satellites will simply observe the front side and the back side of the disk. And nobody denied that the disk must have a back side as well. :P

Yeah, they never mentioned the (failed) previous mission where they put them in the wrong position and the sun looked like a long, thin orange line.

Besides, no matter how many sides you photograph it from, you can’t tell whether it’s a sphere or a generalized [wp]Steinmetz solid[/wp]!

Now there's a good shape for an alternate station...
