OK I was running 1.65 with a mass of OXPs and I've downloaded 1.74, I transferred my old supercobra 1.1 OXP and it wasn't recognised, so I changed that to the latest supercobra 1.4.2 and it still won't recognise it.
I get the message
Failed to restore saved game
Could not find ship type "supercobra-player" please reinstall the appropriate OXP.
I know you wouldn't like to see a grown man cry so how can I fix it?

Can you post Latest.log please? I am pretty sure there is an error somewhere with the Supercobra OXP, which results in the OXP not being loaded. The fact that the savefile reports failure is just a consequence of that.

Checked the logs, half a dozen "failed to load" mixed up logs, so thought I'd make a recent log, would you believe it she dropped in first time and there she is, over 6500 kills and 1.25m Cr sitting there in the launch bay ready for action! That's females for you - unpredictable as ever!!!!
