The first album that really ‘pushed’ my hi-fi was An Electric Storm, by White Noise… a groundbreaking album, in many ways… probably the first real electronica album, and definitely not for easy listening. At least An Electric Storm is available on CD these days… it’s been on my wish list for a while, as I no longer have the vinyl.
