speaking in complete ignorance of such things, but why is the collision so bad? it's tight enough to scrape your paint on dockslot walls, and missiles seem to know when to explode and hit things, as do cargo cannisters banging off my shields etc. what is it that makes it so bad for certain aspects?

Starting of r3590, the nightly has been updated to build using gnustep1.18 (instead of gnustep1.15).

Is there something amiss with the nightly trunk build? I downloaded the Windows package (r3832), but when I tried to install it, the executable wouldn’t run… got a message to try another download. Did that, but it downloaded instantly… impossible at my lowly connection speed.

Yeah, ive had the same problem. The last two builds won't run the installer's executable file. It throws up an error. I've downloaded it numerous times on Chrome, Firefox and Explorer 9. So you ain't alone El Viejo. And i have high speed broadband.

Confirmed. Getafix has been already contacted and we will hopefully have this sorted out soon. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Guys, the machine run out of resources. I will try to fix this tonight by
cleaning up some memory resident stuff.

I am currently setting up a new machine (i.e. quad-core, 4GB Memory)
to replace the current nightly server (i.e. P4, 1.5GB Memory)
and produce all three nightlies (i.e. Linux x86, Linux x86_64, Windows 32bit).

Cheers!

Does this mean I'll have to call the Thargoid invasion fleet off? Damn.

Seriously, that's good news. A resource limit, hmm? If the box has SNMP enabled, have it flag you when resources drop to critical levels.

while increasing my WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) having one box less in the room! 8)

Seriously now, I will highly consider implementing that suggestion on the new server, currently setting up. Thanks commander!

Warning to testers and generally users who experiment with trunk: Unless I have bazoofled it somehow, Windows trunk builds starting from tomorrow's one will be using the new experimental JavaScript engine. Please do report any unusual or buggy scrpit behaviours, as this will enable us to test where we are with this and probably stabilize it again as quickly as possible.
