It is pretty certain I wont be their either, which is a shame. Its about 900km for me, and I dont care how long it takes to walk, Im not doing it :p

Ill see if I can arrange something with work, but I think its too short notice for anything to make sense, looks like 2 days off work and €200 for flights.

My parents have confirmed they're coming down on the 25th, so it rather counts me out I'm afraid

Calling all fellow Ooliters near a small town in the most northerly, northern part of New York state you can get and which most New Yorkers don't even realize exists.... anyone? Damn it! This place is like Space, nobody can hear me scream!

:(

Still, it could be worse... I could live in Alaska. :)

I'll have a virtual pint with you on the evening of the 25th.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

You know this doesn't stop people from having a virtual "thing" habbo hotel meet up, skype etc etc etc. I'm sure there is an online pub somewhere;

Ooo that's ugly.

Yeah the avatars just want to make me throw.

Is it too much to ask to nix some of the manga and put up a nice seedy space bar?

Of course time zones might make in front of the computer drinking impractical.

I can video part of it using my super new Android Froyo phone and host it up afterwards...

Perhaps a group rendition of 'I'm a combateer and I'm ok, I fight all night and I trade all day, on Wednesday's I go shopping and have trumbles for m'tea!'

Might require some beers!

How are we going to identify each other? (Other than looking out for 40-ish geeky type dudes)

Cheers,

Drew.

The table is booked for "Oolite", and the upstairs part is.. cozy. I don't foresee a problem :)

I might print something to put on the table.. A cobby3 wearing a santas hat?
