Don't see why it should put people's noses out of joint - if there's no canon saying, eg, the line ended at the MkIII, then it makes little sense that the line would NOT have been continued and improved as the decades went on.

It's a big Ooniverse. I'm sure some Agricultural Level 1 would give you sanctuary ...

If you want a hand giving it "all mod cons" then I could be persuaded to expand your horizons.

I'm sure for a hand in that Iconic name several other people might risk a line or two of programming. We are after all heading towards "the war" of 49-51

Iirc correctly the SuperCobra is described as the Mk4 in its blurb (either the OXP documentation or the ships description in the game).

However, those are two different things. On this very forum, for instance, opinions are clearly divided on the question whether Frontier can be considered canon, as far as Elite is concerned. Elite works perfectly without recognizing Frontier, and some people may think that it even works better that way.
