We've picked a theme which almost does what we want, but not quite, and I was wondering if anybody out there could help me add what I need.

"We" - don't want to add much - just an additional editable panel below the black bar with "Home" etc. on it and where the blog/news section starts. This panel would contain the Group bio - plus any must read news that we don't want to be supplanted by the blogs (for example one of our members Katherine recently won the Ch.4 TV Book Club readers choice for her debut novel - The legacy - and that's the kind of news we'd want to be in this box)
Any help much appreciated.
