Close escape...
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Very lucky man. Lucky or just good at what he does, in all respects.

Not a cheap prang either. The plane was a CF18 Hornet, a snip at upwards of $29millions. Imagine filling in the Claim form!

weird performance there, plane just seemed to come to a stop and fall.

He was flying at minimal velocity. Looks like he hit some turbulence that lifted his left wing, bringing the arcraft to stall. At that moment, he knew he can't make it...looks like he made the right call.
