Blender 3d support for Oolite

Post by tokugawa »

Hi,

Sorry for being so hot-blooded one, but does such thing exists ?

I just have started it myself... and I'm loving it.

But if someone have done it before I will have to pass (or extend it, or look at it, or...)

Not as such, what we've got at the moment is the obj2dat script (python 2.6). To convert a model to Oolite, you need to save it first as an .obj, then use the python script. Functional, but it might take some time to set it all up...

A plugin that saves your model directly to .dat from inside blender sounds like a really nice idea! Consider me your first customer! :)
