Guess the OXP's
Is it cheating If I guess since I worked on two of the OXP's featured there?

PAGrooves Oldships for the ship.
ADCK's Behemoths for the Rock Hermit.
And Either Famous Planets or System Redux for the planet.

Thanks for posting that screenshot, since noticed a bug with the Rock Hermit's texture, seems like the borders of the normal map are visible at a distance, I'll have to think about that one, it might be tricky to solve.

<Edit> Strange, doesn't seem to be a problem with the texture or the UV map. As far as I can tell its either a problem with the custom shaders or Oolites graphic engine... I think i'll try removing the Glow map and Normal maps tomorrow to test to see it that fixes it.

A 'slightly' overheated Cobra... sunskimming can be tricky, sometimes.

The cabin temp went up another notch, moments after I took this pic. I only just got away with it.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Chicken, you should have waited a good bit longer.

UPS has a rescue mission to an overheating solar station. That station also starts red-hot but ends at white-hot when the player is to slow. At that temperature it becomes virtually impossible to distinguish the port from the rest of the station. Its just a big white mass in front of you without any clue left where to dock. (mission failed at this stage)

Damn right! I'd skimmed my tank of fuel and I was out of there... I hadn't 'saved' for several jumps.

Way cool.. I never even thought to look at my Cobby after sunskimming.. must check that out some time..
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Got dragged out of the tube by Thargoids last night, and only just survived... one more hit would have finished me.
I’ve never seen the energy banks at zero and lived to tell the tale.
Had a very expensive repair bill as well, when I made it back to normal space.
