Extra missions?

Does anyone know if, once reaching Elite status, there are any more unlockables?

i.e. extra missions, access to new equipment or ships ect.

I am playing Oolite Vanilla (and I don't know why the core game is called this).

I don't have any OXP's as I don't know how to download them into the core game.

Calling a game "Vanilla" is a common video gaming term, it basically means the original game with no additions like expansion packs / downloadable content / Addons / Modifications / etc

In the same way that vanilla ice-cream is the original and chocolate or strawberry ice-cream are just vanilla ice-cream with "flavour" added

To answer your question:

Cloaking Device
Takes place in Galaxy 5.

Constrictor Hunt
Must have 256 kills.
Must be in Galaxy 1 or 2.

Nova
Must have a Galactic Hyperdrive fitted.
Must also be in Galaxy 4.

Thargoid Plans
Must have 1281 kills.
Must be in Galaxy 3.
Requires fulfilment of Constrictor Hunt.

Trumbles
Initiated at a 6553.5 Cr. purse.

Are the "Vanilla" missions, and their requirements, so no. Having Elite rating unlocks no new content in Vanilla Oolite.
