Sorry I didn't post it earlier. There is still a warning to be fixed:

shipDisplayName is deprecated as well and produces a warning. From 1.72 it's displayName.

And a suggestion: In my personal copy I've changed the display itself from

Code: Select all

Frame_bountyScannerName+":bounty:"+this.lasttarget.bounty+" cr"
to

Code: Select all

Frame_bountyScannerName+": Bounty "+this.lasttarget.bounty+" cr"
Looks nicer for my taste.

I have noticed that the bounty scanner is the only equipment that can be bought from a zero tech level station. Is that intentional?

Sounds odd, as Tech-level can never be Zero, but Tech level 0 should actually be Tech level 1 for coders, and therefore impossible to set to Zero..

Could you Please link me to that OXP.. Thanks in advance:-) .oO(nasty way of ensurering a link, by thanking them in advance )

I set it to 0(tech level 1) as many Anarchy systems have a low tech level. while it would not make sense to not have it for sale in Anarchy systems...

Cheers Frame.

Not actually sure that I will do anything about it though

Hi Frame,

if you have some spare time (probably not, but who knows) you might want to add other conditions to the bounty scanner availability: maybe make it available in just medieval or anarchy systems, since more centralised societies might be unhappy about helping out bounty hunters... or even making it a tech 99 item and make it available only in specific trading outposts / specific systems, etc... hmmm, the possibilities are endless, really.

Oops, is that the time! Hmmm, better go.
Anyway that was just my twopenny's worth.
Bye for now (I'll try not to disappear for such a long time)

Cheers,

Kaks :)

Are you sure that it is a @, not a ₢?

Very nice, have been loving 1.061. However, the switch to RAR didn't do me any favors. Using Debian's unrar-free:

Code: Select all

Extracting BountyScannerv1.07.oxp/Config/equipment.plist Failed
Extracting BountyScannerv1.07.oxp/Config/world-scripts.plist OK
Extracting BountyScannerv1.07.oxp/Info.plist Failed
Extracting BountyScannerv1.07.oxp/requires.plist OK
Extracting BountyScannerv1.07.oxp/Scripts/BountyScanner.js Failed
3 Failed
Any chance of getting a zipped version?
