Anyway I have another book cover question for you.

This time however, to defeat TinEye.com, I have desaturated the image with The GIMP, decolourised to black and white.

It's a detail from a cover of a book by a famous US author. Title and author please?

Looks like "The moon is a harsh mistress" from Robert Heinlein to me?! Great book by the way!

I'm going to take a googled guess at Ull Quorn, Captain Future's arch-enemy and meat substitute ...

Edit: whaddya know! There's an HMS Quorn in the Royal Navy. Presumably the sister-ship of the HMS Tofu.

Cheers! Applause! Your turn!

PS: There is an official english dub version of the Wrecker episodes on Youtube, I wanted to make sure it can be solved by anyone around here...

OK – and sadly, shamefully, I can't reciprocate in the multilingual stakes – name the novel that begins with a team of combat archaeologists piloting a specialised tank (called a "Search Engine") through a wormhole and into a mysterious artifact on an alien world ...

Is it 'Newton's Wake' by Ken MacLeod?
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!
