I've just become Deadly in a quite amusing way.
I knew I was on 2559 kills and was hoping for something a bit classy to come along next. I then met a Fer de Lance escorted by a Mk 1 Cobra, both offenders. The Ferdy was a worthy victim so I opened fire. He hit the injectors so I did the same and set off in hot persuit. Imagine my suprise , then, when the Cobra suddenly appeared right in front of me. I mean RIGHT in front. I just went straight through him! "S**t" I thought, "Press Space Commander". But instead I got a "Right On, Commander". I'd survived, somehow, and was regenerated into a new Deadly form
I'm sure lots of you must have tales to tell of how you achieved Landmark scores. Pray tell...

Clearly, those Boa II Clippers are tough ships! Did you have much/any forward shield left?

Yes, they were at full strength, luckily. I also have Military Shield boosters fitted. It is certainly a pretty tough ship. It's also survived two simultaneous missile hits in the past. And with all that I still manage to die frequently!
