Caught in a Wormhole
No escape from the gravity
Look to the sky
open your eyes and see...
I'm just a poor pilot
I've got no shield boosters
That's why I ECM! ECM!
Sometimes PRESS SPACE
and Sometimes don't (whew!)
Where the solar winds blow
doesn't really matter to me
(instrumental)
Mama
Just killed a man
Aimed my lasers at his Krait
Pulled my trigger, spilled his freight
My career
It had just begun
But now I’ve gone and blown it all away
Mama, ooh
Didn’t mean to shoot him down
If I’m not back again this time next week
Carry on, carry on and cash in my insurance.

By dramatic necessity, this was a special cargo-hauling Krait. Um.

"Total Eclipse of the... er... no, just a total eclipse." By Sarah Brightman.

Cheers,

Drew.
Wasn't it gravel-voiced Welsh songstress Bonnie Tyler who did 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'? Or do you mean some song I haven't heard yet?

Anyway, for a slightly more "contributing" post, how about...

"Life through a Laser's Focal Lens" by Robbie Williams
"Let It (Star)Shine" by Take That
"Cleveland Rocks Hermit" by Ian Hunter
"Ontiat by the Dashboard Light" by Meatloaf (gimme a while, I might come up with the lyrics for this one... you have been warned!)
"Small Bony Lizard Named Sue" by Johnny Cash

That'll do for now...
You really want to know what's gonna happen, Ambassador? Boom. Boom boom. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. BOOM!

:)

Too late GalCOP has come,
send thrusters down the line
cobra shaking all the time
goodbye little trumble
I've got to go, got to leave them all behind and fly on through.
Mama, oooooooh
I don't want to fry
I sometimes wish I'd never traded at all.

I see a little silhouetto of police.
On the edge! On the Edge but the distance it is closing!
blue lit they are flashing weaponry locked on me!

One criticism...

Corp = Corporation.
Co-op = Co-operative (Good With Food) ;-)
It's GalCOP. Or, at a push if you're into the ArcElite terminology, GalCoop.

Duly noted and fixed, metre of the line appears to be intact commander.

Actually I quite like it the way it is. Try saying it and you'll see what I mean;
GalCCCCOOOPPPP! Sounds like an 80's TV show.

Correct or no, your first post was undoubtedly your best. You should have gone with your gut instead of relying too heavily on "higher learning". Fortunately I am no so constrained by rigid unfeeling academic logic. It stays. :D
