Perhaps I should get marooned, too, then. Here in Austria for weeks it has only had rain, rain, rain, rain.

I heard he was abducted by aliens and then he escaped but retuned to earth 2 months later only able to speak about himself in third-person!!!

But yeah, I got the PM, I think I can whip up another one in little time, after dinner I'll make one, will only take a min to do.

Was made in a bit of a rush, but that should do the job. (meaning it's untested, but should still work)

and as a bonus, it should also fix the escape pod not being capturable issue.

But as is the original neolites, It still has the same exhaust-placement issues, that would be an annoying bug to fix, I believe there were also camera issues too... Maybe Simon B will update it oneday?

Just follow the instuctions in the readme, is not installed like a normal oxp, as its only replacement files.

Updates when I can extract the last set of files from my old HDD.

In the meantime - I've been speculating about the other stations again:
Image
... I think there are too many logos - the idea is to do this in the same coppery/rusty style as the coriolis.

Y'know, I was never really happy with the neolite wolf II:

Since I'm also helping Griff where I can, I thought I'd make an effort to be more griff-friendly.

Nice!

I really like the new station too, I was thinking once of making more stations (I did make 1 military one, which I plan on releasing when the rest of the package is ready)
Likely if I ever do make more stations, they'll be geometric shapes in keeping with the elite theme, always wanted a pyramid station.
Another idea I had for a station was a ring station that completely surrounds a planet like a belt, but I don't think it could be done, and if it could it would likely slow even the beefiest of computers :P

Hope your PC get's well soon hehe.

Isocohedron station textures.
Image
... remembering that these pics have no normalmap or specular.

left: the blue would glow.
middle: very coppery, shiny bits raised.
right: more of a matt finish, the blue bits ore raised.

I think the one on the left without the blue stuff.

However: this is actually the coriolis layout, with diamonds instead of squares! I could use the coriolis style, and use this style on the dodo.

Image... isoc textures like the coriolis ... I rigged the uv-map so I don't have to have the logo-circle thing around the outside, just front and back. To get this though, I'll need a similarly rustified alien-hull texture without them ... how about it?

ImageTrying out the previous isoc textures on the dodo looks like this. I also got rid of the extraneous logos.

The finished product should have lights inside the dock - the reason being that on a dark texture the lighting anomaly (no self shadows) is very obvious.
