On the front page, the label on the Cobra and link to Griff’s OXP still appear as black on black, a bit like a sticker.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

That appears to be deliberate. (Not the same thing as Kaks mentioned and I fixed earlier.)

I think a category called 'Oolite-Stories' might be best and some kind of landing page on the wiki.

Cheers,

Drew.

OK have made the category here: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Catego ... te-Stories EDIT: forgot I needed to actually put some text on the page before saving to make it stay! Now done!

Use the following wiki code on a story's page to add it to the category. Have added it to Status Quo as a test to make sure it works (and it does).

Code: Select all

[[Category:Oolite-Stories]]

Maybe you could start a Kickstarter Campaign to found your £4500 pledge. 8)
Thanks to Gimi, I got an eBook in my inbox tonight (31st May 2014 - Release of Elite Reclamation)!

Now, as to the Landing Page, we could make the Category the Landing Page, or we could make a separate page. Not sure which way to go on this?

Er, why hyphenated? What’s wrong with a space (or underscore, the same thing as far as the wiki’s concerned). I’d suggest a lowercase s on “stories”, too.

That's how Drew had it.

Well can always change this. Knew I shouldn't have rushed in, but that's how I work lol!

Personally I think capitalised Oolite Stories looks better than Oolite stories.

Existing “Oolite foo” categories don’t use title case. So there! :-p

Yeah - make the category page the landing page if we can edit the content to make it look attractive...

I'm easy on the whole uppercase/lowercase/hyphenated thing but if there is a standard, we'll adopt!

Right.... as per the 'standards'...

We now have an 'Oolite stories' category, which the wiki has generated here

We'll start filling this up and post back when it's ready to be linked from oolite.org...

Cheers,

Drew.

Made a start on this.

Does anyone know if section indexes work on category pages?

Saw on Twitter that you have added the Fiction section on the Oolite website.

Very nice!

Now we just have to populate the Oolite stories category fully!

Yep - spotted the update on oolite.org - many thanks. We'll get busy making it look cool and hook up all the known fiction! Nice start, Jaz!

Drew

I'll fix Lazarus (I noticed post-PDF-ing that all the "Parts" had become a single P (something about it being bold - Open Office 3.0 - now have 3.1 so will try again)) - so once fixed, do I need to host it somewhere and have it linked on the wiki or can the wiki host?

Not sure if the wiki can host, but I'm happy too. :D
