What is your desktop resolution? Oolite seems to be detecting 1366x768, which is a somewhat strange one.

1368 x768 16:9 widescreen laptop
fullscreen works if i set oolite to 800x600 but images are then distorted.
1368 x 768 only works in windowed mode but when i start Oolite the screen has flashing graphics until i minimise then maximise a few times
