Constrictor went from all planets!

Doing the constrictor mission, still in Galaxy 1, the F7 message on absolutely every planet in the galaxy (as far as I can tell) says "Yep, an unusual new ship had galactic hyperdrive fitted here, used it too." So I have absolutely no idea where to galactic hyperdrive from! If I galactic hyperdrive from where I am, none of the planets in range have seen anything odd, so I'm left with an entire galaxy to search with no clues

This with Oolite v1.73.4.

You can jump from any place. In G2 about 10% of the systems you visit will hold a further clue to proceed. Just be patience and look at every system.

Did you actually fly to "every system in galaxy 1" or are you just looking the f7 screen up from the long range galactic chart ? In the system you originally got the message ?

Because that way, I always get the message displayed.
Once I jump to another system, it is gone.
(and back when I jump back to the system where the message belongs)

After having vistited some systems in galaxy 2 without further message, I started to doubt if the galactic jump messager was a liar.
