3035 Trunk, lots of crashes

Post by ADCK »

I seem to crash alot with 3035 revision of trunk, seems to be pretty random, but one time I got a windows pop-up saying something like "sorry for the inconvenience, but Oolite needs to close" upon docking, but nothing in the logs, reverting to an older version of trunk (3015) fixed this, sorry I can't be more specific, It's likely an oxp problem.

It's a known issue, almost certainly not an OXP problem and is under investigation. This is why we insist that the trunk be used only for testing and not for standard gameplay. At this moment, trunk is highly unstable.

As an aside, even badly written OXPs shouldnt be able to kill Oolite, so where people are able to provide instances of OXPs that do, it is good to let the team know so that Oolite can be modified to log a helpful error rather than falling over.
