IMPORTANT NOTICE! Incompatible with the original behemoths.oxp. It will not work properly if you have both installed as the original ones may overwrite the new ones. You can use both, but it's not recomended.
Currently incompatible with neolites-megaships.oxp, will be fixed at a later date.

Installation:
Before installation, be sure to delete any previous versions of behemoths.oxp or adcks_behemoths.oxp.
Extract the adcks_behemoths.oxp into your Addons directory of Oolite. Just to be sure startup Oolite with the SHIFT-key pressed until you see the spinning CobraMKIII.
Law Stuffs:
Please read the 2 readme's in the "Original Readmes" folder for legal information regarding the Type 1 & 2 behemoths, turrets, AI's, plists, and scripts.
Thargoid Carrier model remains property of SELEZEN, refer to thargoid-carrier.oxp documentation for more info.
Military Station Type 1, Minesweeper, Radar models remains property of Nemoricus, refer to galactic-navy.oxp documentation for more info.

BTW, for those interested, the shipdata.plist is over 25000 lines of XML
It probably could of been alot smaller (perhaps there's some easier way to do it, especially if I had of used openstep instead, anyone who has a program to convert XML to openstep call me ) but that's how I roll hehe
<EDIT> just noticed the effects map for the type4 is missing lights on the nacelle Updated texture fixes this, just replace the texture in the textures dir with the one linked there.
(This texture will also be included in the next version)
Also, everything seems to mork fine with Galactic Navy at the moment.

Only seen a Type 1 and a Type 2 so far.
Here are some screenshots of the Type 2's. First one is at my local GalNavy Sector Command, and the other two are during a GalNavy mission against the Thargoids. In fact the Behemoth Goliath had just blown up a Thargoid in shot three.
NB: I don't run shaders so they don't look as good as they could do!

I was planning to, but since I completely remodeled the type 1 the UV maps no longer line up, and try as I might I can't get the one unfinished texture (the rear one) to look like the rest of your textures, I'll have another go at it though.pagroove wrote:Excellent work here ADCK. Am just about to start work on the Galactic Navy compatibility patch, which will add the new behemoths to gal navy missions, (plus a few new ships including: The new Destroyer Class, a remodeled/retextured Freighter, a military station retexture, a new second military station type, new transporter/medship/shuttle/transport using neolites models, and a minesweeper retexture, all using shaders)
Which will work along side galactic navy but not overwrite it (unless you use an overwrite.plist) And it wont require Galactic Navy (but you obviously wont see the new galactic navy ships unless you have it)

Ah yes, I decapital-ised that one, as it was the only one with a capital letter in its dictionary entry, should of forseen it would cause a bug with GalNavy, will fix in next release, if you want to fix it on your own, open the shipdata.plist and replace all instances of the word "colossus" with "Colossus" (with a Capital C)JazHaz wrote:May have found a bug...?
