Why "Various Ramblings" ?
Once, on another forum, a thread in the forum's off-topic -section spun off on so many tangents and normals, that I decided to split it in two - one part containing stuff relevant to the original topic and the other part having all the various ramblings and chit-chat - "Various Ramblings" was born.

So, if you think you have something worth saying but not needing a topic of its own, here's the place to express yourself.

I don't see the point, really. We don't have just a thread, but a complete forum dedicated to various ramblings, namely exactly the Outworld forum this is posted in. Everybody is free to start a thread (or ten; or a friggin' thousand if he pleases) about anything in this whole wide world, with no connection to Oolite, even with no fathomable connection to anything at all. :wink:

So, as we already have a whole forum for this kind of stuff, and are using it abundantly, why reduce it to a single thread? I really don't see the point. :?

PS: Note that I haven't even derailed this thread. After all, this is a rambling, isn't it? :D
