Ooh nice one, I'm guessing these are rare as I haven't seen one of these yet and have had the OXP pretty much from its release?

Yup, they're designed to only pop up occasionally.

Love the background image on your photbucket page - where's it from?

It's one of the themes available at photobucket.. it's called "City Lights".
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

A nice looking ship and an excellent piece of collaborative work!

Here are some screenshots of ADCK's new Type 2 Behemoths.

First one is at my local GalNavy Sector Command, and the other two are during a GalNavy mission against the Thargoids. In fact the Behemoth Goliath had just blown up a Thargoid in shot three.

NB: I don't run shaders so they don't look as good as they could do!

You'll only see type 1 and 2's with the gal-navy missions at the moment, and only the original 16 named ships at that, as Gal-Navy only like-ships the original ones...
Can still see the new ones on patroll in systems rarely, and almost always in forced misjumps. the 1.1 version of my behemoths will have support for Gal-Navy.

Retro HUD completed

Post by DeepSpace »

As a build up to release of the Deepspace Ships OXP I've knocked up another HUD. This time its a Retro HUD taken from the daddy itself Elite! :D Simple, elegant, clean I always loved that HUD.

Image

You can go to the Deepspace OXP webpage here and download it....
http://www.jblythe.f9.co.uk/oolite

Note that the Deepspace Ships OXP link does not work just yet, but it will very soon, but everything else does work :) Enjoy.

Forget the previous statement, it does work now... Enjoy
