Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Long Way Round and Asteroid Storm ... two good mission OXPs for starting players. Although you might want to wait for 1.74 before running Asteroid Storm, so you can see the new normalmapped asteroids in all their glory ...

good oxp`s for a noob

Post by GUNSMIF »

I`d like eye candy (ships, stations, planets, flavor) maybe better sound (which oxp is best for top quality sound?)..... any thing all you vets have derived enjoyment from :) i saw big yellow station screen shot with a sanisboorys logo and neon lights looks damn cool dunno where to get it from though?? currently using griffs shader oxp with the gorgeous rendered ships.

Caps lock is considered to be extremely rude, like shouting. Please dont do it.

CAPS LOCK = SHOUTING = bad etiquette unless it really is to emphasise a point!

Reference sound

Post by Loxley »

Reference your enquiry about sound GUNSMIF.
Have you tried Hawksounds? It tones down the menu noises a bit and includes a computer voice for most ship operations.
