Right i got a little bored editing Warfare for Armed Assault so i decided to make a HUD after downloading Generic HUD by Thargoid & Killer Wolf i think. Correct me if i'm wrong!
Thanks pagroove, obviously thanks must go to Thargoid for the script and Killer Wolf and Deepspace for their original HUDS that i based mine on. The generic HUD i really liked due to the changing HUDs during gameplay. I found the original Generic HUDs obscured the various text messages on screen which is why i made my own, and then uploaded to share. I may change the colours some time next week, then again i might not.

I especially like the font you used on the first HUD. Looks modern.
Yeah it was the only font i had that seemed to fit the theme. I might make some more HUDS next week when i get fed up with the DIY. Which will no doubt be before i even start the DIY.
Looks good! One comment would be about the placing of the shield indicators ... for some reason I'd expect to find the fore shield indicator on the right, and the aft on the left. Alternatively you could put them both on one side, one above the other: you'd lose the screen balance but it would improve the functionality, if you could see in one glance the status of your shields.
Credit where it's due - the HUD is by Killer Wolf. I just wrote the scripting behind it to make it react to alert conditions.
HUDs are one of the things I've not played with in an OXP.
Post above amended to give credit where credits due.

Originally i had them in the centre as in Killer Wolfs original but found if glancing at the various screen (F5, F6) etc etc they were in the way, so i moved them out of the way. Personally i'm not bothered if they're on the left or right as i don't glance at them much anyway. I can tell when my shields are getting a pounding without looking at them, and besides i'm usually too busy hiding behind my commanders seat waiting to die!
Maybe if i make another i'll consider the point you made, a valid one at that.
Nice! I like those! I was working on a chevron design.
I still like the ground glass idea, still nice huds!
I guess i know what i'll be doing at work tonight with a piece of paper and a pencil. Doodling designs no doubt. I hope you're still working on it ClymAngus.

Just goes to show, some like it and some don't. I'm with you Zireael, i like them too. I might place them above and below the scanner in the next one. Let's see how my doodling goes at work tonight.

Medusa could be improved yes, but there is so much more fun to be had now a days and the permutations are fairly vast. Alterations on status and other scripting changes yet to be investigated. It is very much a brave new world of "might be's" if one has the yen to dip a toe in the waters of possibility.
try putting "high tech border" into ggogle image search there are plenty of ideas there.

With the new expansions in 1.75.x, it should be possible to extend my scripting even further. For example different HUDs for the different views...
Not sure why you might actually want to do that, but it's now possible
Because then I have somewhere to stick my "Been there, done that, got the T-shirt Tianve Pulsar" sticker.
