Re: Split: Discussion on version 1.80

I know the story well enough, but I'd like to have the piece of equipment. Yes... very handy, is that. I keep the OXP installed as I like to visit the interstellar asteroid swarms of Lago occasionly. Very sad to hear that, but understandable. Aye... I ain't up to fixing it, and I somehow doubt that...

Re: Split: Discussion on version 1.80

True, I already knew about it being broken. Once I've finished installing 1.8 and the expansion packs, I'll end up doing the run once more. I plan on having a couple of save files before the run, just to ensure that I don't get caught and stuck in its bugs. After that, assuming I get through just fi...

Re: Split: Discussion on version 1.80

Thanks Diziet! I read that, but wasn't entirely sure what I would be getting into. Knowing that over 200 of the oxps have been changed helps. I think I'm going to go ahead and download the new game.

Re: Split: Discussion on version 1.80

So, I finally am able to return to this website (for whatever reason it always timed out) and guess what I find? Oolite 1.8 is out! :D I suddenly get really excited before I realized.....I have over 35 expansion packs installed, some of them old and slightly buggy (though they nearly always work...l...

Re: Oh, is *that* why it's quiet round here?

I don't know about other people, but I'm mostly just busy with school and work. Also, 70% off for Kingdoms of Amalur, for which I've already put 20 hours into, soooooo yeah. lol.

Text editor/save file help

So....somehow my supercobra is listing its cargo hold as being full with 45 tc. However, when I dock at a space station or hit the number eight button, it lists my cargo as only being the 4 kilos of platinum that I have on board. When I hit the number 5 button twice to check my manifest, it lists so...

Re: Various ideas, OXP and main game?

This may just be a shot in the dark (given my almost non-existent knowledge of coding), but for the idea of owning a fleet, perhaps you could make it such that the purchase cost is zero for switching ships? Obviously not all ships, but ships you own, wherever that would be. After that, the only othe...

Re: APRIL OXP (Automated Pylon Re-arm In-flight Loader)

I'm glad that you managed to narrow down the possibilities, Thargoid.

To be more specific, Diziet, I use 1.77.1. There's probably some differences between the two.

Re: APRIL OXP (Automated Pylon Re-arm In-flight Loader)

No problem. I had noticed the problem was happening every time my Supercobra was full at 45 tc (large cargo bay plus military level april system) and I loaded the game, so I went ahead and tested to see if that was the scenario. If there is something else affecting it apart from just the full cargo ...

Re: APRIL OXP (Automated Pylon Re-arm In-flight Loader)

I was suspicious about something, the possible cause for why the april system was disappearing, and I figured it out. If I fill my ship full of goods, any goods, so that my cargo space is full, and then save the game and close it, when I reopen that save file the april system is gone. There's someth...

Re: APRIL OXP (Automated Pylon Re-arm In-flight Loader)

Unfortunately I'm too much of a computer noob to know what log files and mission variables are. That being said, I have the most recent version of the april oxp and version 1.77.1 of oolite. Edit1: I also have not reentered that save file since posting on this thread so that whatever log files and m...
