The only really problem with the size of the png file is that it's really hard to edit at that size! I'l work on it when the alcohol has worn off.

Cheers Arexack. I'll try that tomorrow - gave it a quick whirl just now, it all went fine until I opened the png and it was about the size of a postage stamp.

I hate to appear stupid, but I cannot for the life of me work out how choose what filetype I export as. When I hit 'make external' then I get a savebox where I type in the name, which doesn't specify an extension. I tried exporting it as a bmp, then editing it and saving it as png, but wings didn't detect it and my model came up untextured.

I've run across a prob - you know that in aegidian's 'how to texture stuff you numpty' tutorial that he's got on the Oolite frontpage, he tells you to export the textures as a .png? Well, if I export mine, they come out as .bmp. Is this a problem? Man, I need to remember how to texture again..! [EDI...
