Re: [RELEASE] Destination ETA
Has anyone been using this with Oolite 1.81? I think the changes to the coordinate system's precision have affected this OXP.

Re: A blast from the past
Spotted a BBC micro that ended up unsold at £5 yesterday evening - probably because it was listed as a "keyboard" and as buyer collect from an address near Rugby in the UK. It was re-listed today, still at £5, as of now still no bids. So if anyone wants to try Elite on the original platfo...

Re: Random Hits OXP
Glad you got it sorted. Deprecation errors are not that dangerous, I take it they are there for OXPrs to do something about them. The game evolves quite fast and OXPs are dragging behind. Especially the old ones. OXPs from the manager work somewhat ok, but odd individual OXPs from wiki might produc...

Re: Random Hits OXP
..    I think I know what happened. I upgraded everything (Oolite included, if I'm not mistaken) right in the middle of a mission. So, it's not that I'm cursed with oddball bugs, apprently, but more I'm great at borking things :P :P. What I wound up doing is dropping the co...

Yeah, I was getting that feeling, too.

Re: Random Hits OXP
Thanks for testing. One more request. Could you please check your save file and report what mision_random_hits_mark_ship has in it? No problem - I think I must be cursed with the oddball bug every upgrade or two. I checked the save file, and the closest I found was: <key>mission_random_hits_mark_sh...

Re: Random Hits OXP
I was able to download Griff's new stuff in the end (I had to allow cookies from box.com) I thought it was because Griff had hit his monthly bandwidth limit. I have cookies enabled for box.com, but currently I cannot download his OXPs. I had to actually download the zip of the entire directory - in...

Re: "Fast Activation" Primable Equipment
If you set the fast activation to energy bomb on Tab (or nothing on Tab if you don't have the energy bomb OXP installed), and cloaking device on 0, you'll get exactly the same behaviour from those keys as in previous versions. Those are the default settings anyway. You can also choose (via F4) to b...

Re: Random Hits OXP
Well, I'm probably getting closer now. I've completely started from scratch, using the manager as much as possible for the latest and greatest. I was able to download Griff's new stuff in the end (I had to allow cookies from box.com :| ). Anyway, here's the new log . I'm not sure why there's still s...

Re: Random Hits OXP
Where does stuff get installed when you install from the manager? On Windows, here: ~:\Oolite-Trunk\oolite.app\GNUstep\Library\ApplicationSupport\Oolite\ManagedAddOns Cool - found it! Thank you sir! 8) For Linux users, its /home/robert/GNUstep/Library/ApplicationSupport/Oolite/ManagedAddOns Hmmm, h...

Re: Random Hits OXP
Just took a look at your log and looks like you've got a lot of deprecated stuff there that will mess things up. Did not see anything about the Ghavial though, but I'll check it out when I've got a little more time. One thing that will mess things up is Griff's old replacement set. You'll want to g...

Re: Random Hits OXP
Hello CommRLock78. I'm responsible for the latest changes/bugs. No changes in positioning the mark from the previous versions. Either you're being unlucky or there's a bug lurking somewhere. Are you using the latest version (1.10.2) of RH? Are you using Oolite 1.80 or 1.81? What ship is the mark fl...

"Fast Activation" Primable Equipment
This feature started in 1.8x (?), but in short:
TAB == 'offensive' fast action primable
0 == 'defensive' fast action primable.

Re: Random Hits OXP
Hola LittleBear - has something been changed to the behaviour of the mark? I've been back and forth down this spacelane nearly a dozen times and haven't seen the turd. Usually if I don't seem them the first time down the lane I catch them on the way back to the witchpoint marker. Not sure if I've ev...

I've been noticing that! I'm going to have to change some of my tactics - but probably for the best.Fatleaf wrote:Well don't judge it too harshly yet as with the current version the ships are harder and more deadly than they were before. ...
