As far as my testing shows me, yes. YMMV!Cody wrote:Just catching-up here (with a virgin Oolite install on a new machine) - this means I can now remove Snoopers, yes?

Re: BGS - The BackgroundSet
Fixed the pesky bug introduced when Snoopers isn't installed. Note that the long range chart update will be immediate upon docking and not after a random time that Snoopers would wait for. There is still a random time interval between updates that is used internally, but things will happen a lot fas...

Re: BGS - The BackgroundSe
After refactoring the XMapping script I've noticed one huge bug in relation to the addition of new lanes/areas. The bug was introduced by me when I took out the Snoopers dependency. On the code callback when the news agency reports a new lane it is added. I need to insert a bit of code to add the la...

This is why I want to modularize this.Cody wrote:How can I disable the Advanced Mapping funtion? Disabling it in-game no longer seems to work.

Re: BGS - The BackgroundSet
There are 1 or 2 .oggs that need to be squashed from stereo to mono. Wish that there was an easy way to check the tags. As of 1.9 (the latest version I have easily to hand), the stereo ones were: bgs-c_auto_norange.ogg bgs-c_auto_off.ogg bgs-c_auto_on.ogg bgs-c_breakpattern.ogg bgs-c_buy.ogg bgs-c_...

Re: BGS - The BackgroundSet
Muchas gracias! Here... have a cookie! I'll be about swapping-out the buy/sell .oggs again - I prefer Oolite's own, you see. Oh yeah... is the 'weapons safe' speech .ogg a bit screwed-up? It has always sounded odd to me. There are 1 or 2 .oggs that need to be squashed from stereo to mono. Wish that...

... got some nice designer frames... Stuff designer frames! I always go for titanium (lightweight and durable), and high RI lenses. Going to go for some lenses for driving myself. Been relying on clip-on tinted lenses too much. They work but can be easily knocked off. (Used them for 1st team cricke...

Re: BGS - The BackgroundSet
I'm having a spot of bother installing BGS 1.10.3 - tried several times: 21:58:22.094 [oxz.manager.error]: Downloaded OXZ does not have the same identifer and version as expected. This might be due to your manifests list being out of date - try updating it. I hope the OXP variant listed above works...

Which reminds me. I spotted a bug in the way that QBomb code is implemented. Assumes plists for the AI. Not correct for 1.79+
