Re: Yaw mapping to joystick axis
Analogue yaw would be very nice. :) Wish granted. The following is the output of 'svn diff' against svn current (rev 1501). Some notes: After applying this you'll have to go to the joystick config page and remap thrust, as well as yaw. I've made the max default yaw half of the max default pitch. IM...

I wrote some code a while back that added joystick support for yaw a while back (about a month ago). Last time I tried it it didn't work. Not sure why, but I haven't had the time to fix it yet. I also added view control via the hat switch that worked as of a couple of weeks ago. If anyone wants to l...

I noticed that the route for the 3rd map is the shortest distance, but not the shortest time. Stopping at the planet between Ismaan and Bilain would cut the travel time down significantly. Of course, this is only important on passenger/cargo transport missions. As the time to travel between planets ...

If you really wanted to you could symlink the proper directories to your windows partition. If you're using vfat, no problem. If you're using ntfs, ntfs-3g just hit version 1.0 (full read-write support). I used to do something like this for Firefox and Thunderbird, until I said goodbye to XP (now it...

Actually my question was directed at Sung. On his website listed in his sig he has links for Texture Pack 1 and Texture Pack 2. If I remember correctly, I grabbed his texture pack when he said he was done. I didn't know there were 2. I have the pack that is named oolite_texture.zip and has a timesta...

Short Renegade Story
Boy am I good. Or so I thought. I was "minding my own business" in either an Anarchy or Feudal World and happened to stumble upon about 6 ships. There were a couple of big ships and about 4 Cobra Mk III's. Now I've got my ship (also a Mk III) fitted with everything except a Military Shield...
It's much easier if you have a joystick. I usually approach the station at full speed. When I'm about 5 seconds out I start spinning with the station. A little bit later I drop to about 2/3 thrust. You want to make sure you can see both the ceiling and floor of the station. If, for example, you can ...

Yaw and View Control via Joystick
Cmdr Wyvern: I had a look at the code, but I can't figure out why the precision button isn't working for you. I did just a little clean-up on the yaw stuff, and I added view control to the joystick. However, now there's so many joystick options the last one gets cut off (Roll/pitch precision toggle ...
