Re: Help...!

But Giles said… Unless you scoop fuel from the erratic sun before it goes Nova (dodgy - but it can be done ), you'll have no fuel when asked to perform the Nova mission. Ah, but the preservationist streak in me says: 'Don't sun-skim to refuel from a sun about to go nova'. So I'll let them burn. :wi...

Re: Help...!

When I did a screen came up asking me to help evacuate refugees as the sun was about to go supernova. Being a public spirit chap I accepted and was promptly launched. The only problem was I had no fuel and thus quickly redocked and stocked up. Whilst I was there I saved my game. The problem is now ...

I think I have version 1.1? kicking about somewhere. It will be interesting to compare and contrast that version to 1.62.

From what Murgh has been saying, only the NPC Wolf MkII has the double laser mounting. They are, by far, the toughest ship out there and (if you are just starting out especially) should be avoided at all costs. I had a commander with a ship consisting of many energy banks and energy unit, but a Wolf...

But surely this is what life is about in Oolite. Knowing where, when, an who to pick your fights or trade with. I'm all for something like this but also share Aegidian's concerns regarding game balance. Perhaps this could be implemented into an OXP, or what about a difficulty level option? Then play...

Quick question: Is the behemoth now part of the main release or only available if you use the OXP?

Quite simple, they are in stasis and getting reanimated by opening the box. We are talking about the future, don't we? Btw, we're not that far away from these things, when thinking of recent scientific experiments with animals who were kept in some sort of artificial death state and reanimat...

whenever I'm offered a Trumble, there's a spinning demo of a ship next to it. I'm not sure this is part of a cunning plan (it's seems random) but wouldn't it be better if the image had a connection to the text? something like this? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v473/murgh/space/trumblesale.png ...

After seeing that screenshot I'm hoping that the mouse can be used as a laser blaster so we can shoot the damn things! The implementation of a 'popped' trumble would be very rewarding

Noooooooooooooooo!! Not Police Academy!!!!

Couldn't you have referred to the Lone Ranger instead????

I voted for 7 stars, just to be awkward and to see ifit could be done.

Love the idea of a different system vessel!

Ugly icons, screen clutter, etc. I suppose it does suck IMO  But there will be those who think it's 'a good idea', so I won't go into a lengthy post by pro-conning it. Oolite is fine as it is. lol I just wrote clutter. They are UGLY, but I make no claim to be a graphics wizz, although it must ...
