I am deadly.
I am now Deadly. I have over 2 million credits. I am flying an iron assed Supercobra with a Naval energy unit and Cloaking device. I don't know if this holds true for other ships, but my energy recharge rate is now higher than the drain from the cloaking device. While cloaked, I can fly right up to ...

Mining.
Am I correct in assuming you can only get minerals (which are worth practically nothing) when mining?
Could you change it so you can also find radioactives, gemstones and precious metals as well. They should be rare - but enough to make mining profitable.

Deposed
When playing Deposed, I went to **** and killed three black widows.
I then had to return and killed two more.
Then one (for a total of six) before I got the congratulations message.
I'm also only getting the GalCops messages, not the original contacts.

The System Independant repair Facility
It's really good, but I don't like it appearing in all the systems. Can anyone tell me (I know nothing about scripting) how to make it only appear in a few systems?

Plasma cannons
You can't buy plasma cannpons anymore. However, you can get them by editing the save game file. IIRC, you have to change the weapon equiped to 2 (anyway, it's one less than if you have a pulse laser).

Equipment in 1.65
The announcement for version 1.65 mentioned new equipment being availible. Is there any, and if so, what? I havn't seen any, even when I traded in my ship for a bog standard MkIII.

Profit.
1) Given the investment in mining laser and scoop, I don't think the profit on mining is worth the tedium. I do have a mining laser, but don't use it much. 2) The bounty in bounty hunting is actually fairly small. It's worth it for increasing your combat rating and pirates often have choice loot, th...

Thanks. For some reason, certain people don't think I like them when I get picky. Can't understand why.drew wrote:Good feedback though.

I like being picky.
Thanks, but I feel like being a bit picky today. 1) If the Q-mine was the planet buster you described, there's NO WAY IN HELL it would EVER be sold to civilians or issued to anyone who wasn't completely trustworthy. I can just about justify the energy bomb in my mind by assuming that an atmosphere w...

Elplosive cargo.
There's no reason not to have a scoop mine that blows up when someone tries to pick it up, but I'm not sure what use it would be gamewise. We've already got boobytrapped cargo canisters.

Saved Games
1) If there was a penalty for dying, people would just have two saved games, so one didn't get messed up. 2) The record for the highest number of kills of a single pilot is 300 odd, by a German guy on the Eastern front in WWII. The 6,000 needed to become Elite obviously isn't "real" and ex...

Maybe this should be in suggestions but... You have a cargo bay of radioactives and you get attacked. You then eject radioactives while opponent on your tail, shoot them and BOOOOM! Nuclear explosion. Not as big a boom as a Q bomb, more localised than an E bomb but a lot more boom than a missile......

This discussion leads me to another idea. Illegal upgrades for your ship. Basically stuff you can only buy if you've been a fugitive for a set amount of time, to establish your killer reputation. a) For balance, you'd also have to have equipment that you could only get if you were legally squeeky c...
