I like that image a lot. It's a great moment to capture. I had a go at adding some motion blur onto it, but not sure if it really adds anything extra: http://www.bluelocust.com/inhouse/oolite/ROTK_blur.jpg Also, as for the Cobra in the Planet Paradise picture, yeah I realise now it's way too small. ...

Is the cover competition still open on this one? I'd like to have another bash at a cover if it is.

I did a bit of fan art on the Frontier website. It probably doesn't help, but it's a great excuse for me to show the pics here :) RELATIVE TO MERLIN http://www.bluelocust.com/inhouse/frontier/RelativeToMerlin.jpg PLANET PARADISE http://www.bluelocust.com/inhouse/frontier/planet-paradise.jpg THE TROU...

I did an Adder Mk II once. You're brave to approach the Cobra Mk IV territory, but I think it's a great idea. Looking forward to seeing how it looks.

B5 is the best Sci-Fi series for me too. (Have the DVD box set :)) Interestingly, here's a little snippet taken from Sci-Fi Art: A Graphic History The Starfury from Babylon 5 is an extremely accomplished piece of conceptual design, using principles to create a very plausible ship that actually looks...

Regarding the Olive Green Daleks: I think it looks very much like the Royal Army has started using Daleks! That might be an interesting episode. Yep that does look good - did you notice the Union Flag under their eye piece. (I think that's episode 3 if I'm not mistaken). Quite Interesting piece of ...

Probably the gamma settings on your monitor. It's really noticeable on my two screens. Plus, if you're going to do something you might as well do it right.

EDIT: Looks good.

you could change the background colour of the website from black to #040608 (that's the shade of grey the nav bar sits in). It'd all blend really nicely then.

I think it is more practical to choose images from a small pool for each species rather than having one pic per planet. Yep, I agree. But maybe a couple of planets could have special looking ones - Lave for instance. Or perhaps mission scripted ones, a bit like the Famous Planets oxp. Or even perha...

What are the pixel dimensions of the inhabitants picture?

Also, do you know which creatures need to be created? And can planets have their very own inhabitant picture, or will it only choose from a pool of generic ones?

IGN still rated the PS3 as the best Blu-Ray player over the purpose built Blu-Ray players. One of the advantages of the PS3 player is that it gets regular firmware updates when needed. Panasonic and Sony do great HDTVs (but they're also the most expensive) I have a Sharp 42" which was about £80...
