I went out to Riedquat in a brand new basic Cobra to make sure my install was working again. Reminded how hard it is without the stuff. No ECM is bad, and even when I took something down, I couldn't pick up it's stuff since I had no fuel scoops, arrgh

Ok, short story is it's fixed.

I downloaded Amoeba, a demo app that uses OpenGL as a screensaver, and it forced my res to 800x600. It worked fine, but that res is too big. I switched my res back to 1280x1024, and Oolite started fine. So it works now.
Why I am not exactly sure.

You need to have an Advanced Space Compass and then hit '\' to cycle through the objects in it. That's where it will be.

I got this as well, and was worried for a sec, and then I realized
'Hey, wait a minute I'm running Ubuntu now, this can't possibly be real'.

Thanks for ideas,

Still not fixed after deleting defaults file.
I suspect something weird with video driver. Though changing to 1024x768, hasn't fixed it either.

Crashes at startup after setting change

OOlite now crashes when I start up. I switched OOlite to start in full screen, it crashes at startup (I see the small logo window and then it crashes) When I started it from a terminal window, I got the message. The last thing I was doing was attempting to cycle through the resolutions on the F2 scr...

Have you seen the prices of food at your local PI-42 compared to the regular supermarket ?
It's a pretty accurate simulation of real life. :D

I believe Tianave (The Pulsar system) is TL 13 and I know there's a bunch of high TL systems near it of which at least one is. So take a holiday, see the Pulsar and get the upgrades all at the same time. :)

It's in the top right of G1.
