I have never actually played it with a joystick to be fair. I have always been a keyboard guy having played Elite on the BBC/Acorn many years ago. So S,X and , . are more than natural to me. :D

Will try a joystick one day and see what happens.

1 - Should there be ships that are better than the Cobra MkIII in every respect? Some of us think no and that other ships should perform better in specific respects rather than every respect, others think there should be direct/linear upgrades on the Cobra MKIII. Neither approach is right or wrong,...

Oops opened a can of worms. :)

I actually thought it already did what you guys are discussing, hence just waiting to see how long it would take.

But it would be great to see it in there in the future.

Hi there Skii and welcome to the forums. I know what you mean since I was there only a few weeks ago. Kaks hit the nail on the head, the best thing to do is stay out of the space lane. For a quieter and peaceful journey to the station (and quicker). I set the planet marker to the very bottom of the ...

Oh yes I am OK with the conequences, I just thought that things would have broken by now. Which is why I am letting it go on a bit further to see if they do actually break. Which is really the reason for my post, do they actually break? Talking about the resale value, I feel hard done to. There is a...

Maintenance

I never know whether to post in here of the bugs report. So I am going to chance it and go in here, because of course this is the friendly board. :D Just a quick post about "maintance overhaul". Because I think it may not be working quite right. It seems to come around quite quickly so I g...

Lots of Commanders seem to like the Imperial Courier, but I recently saw something called "The Morrigan" I think that seemed to have some good stats. Does anybody use one of these? My first move was to a Mosquito Trader as I still like the do everything style that the Cobra gave. I can car...

Excellent that post looks like it has the answer. I will have to refine my searching, as I did try and search here for it as I assumed it might have come up before.

Thank you very much for the link and information guys.

Cheers.

They all seem quite fast and have small profiles I think anyway. And just feel out of place a little with all the large ships flying around.

Silly bug perhaps?

Two questions in a matter of days, I really don't have many problems with other things you know. Anyway, here I am trading between Teanrebi and Tianve in Galaxy 1 as hard as possible desperately saving up as many credits as possible to purchase my first ship upgrade. As I know there is a Mosqu...

Well I have only just purchased my iMac so I am using 10.5 and have already ordered my almost free copy of SL (cost about £7), so looking forward to installing that next month when it turns up.

Thank you very much for all that information. My reason for fiddling with iPhoto was I was after where all my picture went when they were imported. :) I was trying to decide whether I needed to keep a copy on the HD or not. That is how I discovered the Package contents, and then forgot about it come...

Arh fantastic! Wonderful I suddenly have more files to view. iPhoto confused me that way as well, I just expect files and directories to be "normal" but they are a little different. :D I have just fixed my directories actually straight after writing, always the case. I installed just the b...
