lookin good

Had a major crash a while ago, (mobo), and after the rebuild never got round to reloading oolite until now. Not quite finished the system yet, saving up the pennies for a new vid card so running onboard video. WOW! This version is just stunning. The new "random hits" and "yaw&...

Don't know whether this will help, absolute beginner in wings myself.
Select 2 vertices in vertex selection mode and wings will display the distance between them.

Now I've got all 300 installed my machine has started to stutter again - although I have also installed all these fabulous new stations too so I may have to pick between eye candy and the Ads And a bloody hard choice it is too. Now down to about 50 of my really really favourite oxps, which includes...

Reinstall the latest version, and remember to hold down the shift key while starting Oolite... Can't find the link on the wiki, found it through a search of your posts. Forgot to ment...

Problem with bountyscanner

Can't figure out how, but it looks as if I've broken it. Was working ok, then nothing. Reinstalled the oxp still no go. Noticed the backup script and decided to use it and now up and running. Reloaded the original script and problem returned. I have been installing and removing oxps quite a bit and ...

I remember one like that. After the first tiking off from the guy at the station I didn't bother going back there for fuel went to the sun. Kept going up and down the space lanes still no sign. I think I might have witchspaced to a nearby system fueled from the sun and jumped back and they hit me ri...

Thanks for the info guys. Might it be worth having a beta section in the wiki list (or a separate list, or here, or somewhere else if more appropriate) for OXPs under test? I don't mind beta testing. :) One thing I haven't found yet is where updated oxps are announced. I follow the expansion pack fo...

Thanks Thargoid It was the Aquatics OXP discussion that got my interest in seeing how they are made. It sounds like you're a couple of steps behind me on the path of OXP learning, I would be more inclined to think a couple of light years. Hi Eric I haven't seen problems with ups on my system...

oxp verification

Hope this is the right forum. Found myself very interested in how oxps are made. Actually made a flying brick and saw it in the ooniverse, WooHoo. Then found how to verify an oxp. This is a great way to learn about the keys in the plist files. I have a few questions after running it over some of the...

Had that happen to me. Can't remember what version I was running when this was happening maybe 1.65.
Happened in 2 systems, shooting at a cobra and could not figure out why my shields were going down, meant to report it but forgot.
Hasn't happened again since I've been running 1.71.2 test.

The pilot stumbles into the bar, legs still trembling. Looking up he notices the shocked look on the bartenders face. In a voice barely above a whisper the barman asks “What happened to you”? Pointing towards one of the large viewscreens “there’s something out there you do not want to run into”. The...
