Snoopers 2.4 Problem
I have installed Snoopers 2.4 into my Windows7 setup. On the first installation using the F4 key while docked at Lave station the response was nil, repeated use of F4 produced no indication that Snoopers 2.4 was installed. I deleted that OXP from my Addons file. I downloaded Snoopers 2.4 from the mi...

Re: Very Old and Very Bold
Most interesting links - thank you. Although "Anastasia" would be no larger than an Oolite escape pod it might be considered worth modelling as a 'panet to space station taxi or ferry vehicle'. Modelled as a larger ship the shape is very attractive and it could be modelled to any size, per...

Very Old and Very Bold
I am from a generation whose first taste of science fiction came on the front page of the weekly "Eagle" comic in the person of 'Dan Dare - Pilot of the future'. Does any member know if a version of Dan's own ship "Anastasia" has been made for Oolite? Looking through some of the ...

Re: OXP Problem w7
For El Viejo:
Success at last! I did as you suggested and now all the ships have names other than the Galcop craft which now have what look like proper ID registrations.
Thanks, this little item might might be of help to other W7 users.

Re: OXP Problem w7
Thanks to everyone for the speedy replies. When I right clicked on "randomshipnames.oxp" properties - General there was no tick in the 'read only' box for me to remove. On to "Advanced" there was no tick in a greyed out box 'encrypt contents to secure data' for me to remove. I ha...

OXP Problem w7
A couple of days ago I downloaded the "randonshipnames.oxp" anticipating an interesting effect when I next ventured out of Lave station. To my regret I found that when I attempted to load the OXP into my AddOns folder I was met with the following message: "do you wish to copy this wit...

Re: Difficult start to Windows 7 Oolite
Thanks for the welcome messages! I am grateful to Jens for quickly identifying the required thread in previous bulletin entries which immediately gave me a clue on where my own error occurred. Most appreciated were the installation notes written by "Gimi". I have two drives on my computer ...

Difficult start to Windows 7 Oolite
I have used MS Flight Simulator Programs since 1995 and I am used to adding aircraft, scenery and third party zip files. I have spent half of today trying to load OXPs into the latest version of Oolite via the AddOns file. The whole exercise has been a complete failure and extremely irritating. I ha...
