Just installed the OXP to have a look. Love the rotation on the Man O' War :D Can't say the same for the Conger :? , interesting idea but made it look to my eyes like a giant cam-shaft. In the Ooniverse wouldn't it make for some interesting cargo handling requirements ? PS Sorry but I just killed on...

Firstly, some really great looking ships, nicely distinctive. However ... Damn, looks like you've beaten me with an idea. I haven't installed the OXP yet (looking at this at work) but it sounds very much like your Conger does very much like I want my Goliath Fleet Auxiliary to do when under attack. ...

Windows PList Editor

Not sure if this has been highlighted before but for editing plist files I use TextPad. Anyhow the reason for this post is that I have created a Syntax Highlight file for TextPad that emphasises structure and keys within the file. Version 1 of the file covers all entries I could find in the ShipData...

OK, We get the idea - no escort missions. :) I couldn't recall many missions of the type in the earlier games I'd played, I guess I was just lucky. Either that or my mind (what's left of it) had blanked out all memory of their awfullness. I've still got some work to do understanding shipbuilding yet...

Damn, that was roughly the idea I was looking at ... 1: Escorting a tanker of particularly volatile fuel to a military test base. Some sort of Fleet Replenishment Vessel (along the lines of the Royal Navy's RFA ships) requiring urgent escort to a deployed squadron. Successfully reaching the target s...

I have to agree with everybody above. Adding to the Ooniverse is a progressive thing, people will start with the easy stuff and work up to the more difficult. Hence the large number of eye-candy add-on's and the relative scarcity of missions as people lose enthusiam or meet their skill ceiling as it...

Roger Wilco :)

I'll see how the re-install affects things.

Certainly adds to the game running a few of these OXP's :D

OK, please ignore the idiot above  As soon as I'd completed the post I realised that I'd moved pitch and roll away from the arrow keys. These then are available for the throttle and are way easier for my right hand to deal with anyway (no keys below them to reach over). So the problem isn't res...

Custom KeyConfig.plist issue

Hi all, I wonder if any of you geniuses can help me out. I've just upgraded from Oolite 1.65 to 1.71.2 in order to play some of the shiney :) OXP's that require it. Unfortunately I'm somewhat left handed and require a custom layout while playing. The plist I've created for this purpose initially did...

Still it's been a wonderful learning curve, might take a look into ship designs next. Sounds like you're on the same curve that I'm on, take a look at my Wiki bit . I've got as far as the models and one of the textures. Sorting out the plist files is taking a little longer :?. Good luck with your d...

Ping Stromboli Have to agree with you on the Scanner Targeting Enhancement, in addition it would be nice if it were possible to list all the vessels in your scanner range and automagically be able to select one without having to have it pass through your crosshairs. The Mk1 G-HUD was replaced exactl...

Very nice :)

Particularly like the concentric rings on the Main Scanner.

You should add it to the Wiki.

Updated to Mk 2

With thanks to Cmdr. Maegil for suggestions this has now been updated to Mk2.

Shield, Speed, Weapon Temp. and Missile Display moved outside of the space used by the Scanner Targeting Enhancement. In addition the Main Scanner now has a background to it for extra clarity.
