Hello again

Foolishly, I've (quite) recently taken a new job as a school teacher. (I'm yet to figure out quite why, though) Unfortunately, this has dramatically reduced my sparetime. However, I think I'm going to set aside a few hours to get my Oolite spec up to date, and kick some butt. I've noticed some treme...

Actually, I PMd the chap, and he showed me the link.

I don't wish to tread on anyone's toes, but I really think these should be considered as the standard textures for the ships in Oolite.

They instantly improve the general appearance of the game, in my opinion.

I'm often rendered in C4D some Planets for other projects. I have made some planet tiles like this: http://www.horusgames.de/horuspics/sung/twomoons-tex.jpg after rendering it looks like this http://www.horusgames.de/horuspics/sung/twomoons.jpg is it planned to get some detailed planets with a smal...

I'm loving these space stations.

However, I've tried to put them in my Add-on folder (and started playing, holding down [shift], but I'm not seeing any of these beautiful stations...

I'm using 1.69, if that makes any difference...?

Er... Well, I'm not too sure that he was THAT offended... Armed with a little knowledge of German, and Google, I found this... http://www.schmucker-info.homepage.t-online.de/ Surely, if he was really upset, these wouldn't be so easily available? I've downloaded them, and just installed them, and the...

Sung's textures

I've been browsing through the board, drooling over the guy Sung's ship/space station/planet textures.

Someone PLEASE tell me how I can import them into my Oolite.

It's exactly what I'm looking for to improve the game (in my humble opinion - I know they aren't to everyone's taste...)!

Cheers!

Woah - this is a long thread! Can I be lazy, and ask if anyone has created a new set of "realistic" textures for the standard ships and space staion? I've seen some cracking screen-shots, but can't determine if there is an OXP yet. I quite like the "non-ad" space stations, and th...

are there any EASY to use modelling progs for Linux? i run debian with KDE and oolite170 Wings3D is as easy as you are going to get short of the not-very-useful SketchUp. I'd like to start adding different panel textures to the standard craft. Is it possible to import the models into Google Sketchu...

Can anyone explain why I can't find an "extra energy cell" for sale at any space station? Even over-8 tech ones...? The Extra Energy Unit (EEU) is not an 'extra cell', more an enhancement that improves your ship's energy recharge rate. If your ship is fitted with one or, indeed with a Nav...
