No it isn't.

It's true suns are unrealistically close in core, but I find using Distant Suns or other oxps which place them further away makes sunskimming impossibly tedious.

Yes, it's not a gamebreaker but annoying when it happens.

Zoomable charts would also be nice, would mitigate this problem somewhat and would mean the short-range and long-range charts could be merged - although perhaps that's a suggestion that should have its own thread?
