On a related issue: does anyone know how to force the Advanced compass to shift its lock from the planet to the station as soon as its within range?

I keep on flying past it - I'm sure I'll crash into a planet sooner or later because it's over the other hemisphere

Just started with this. I've got about 350 credits and clean rating Now whenever I go anywhere I ALWAYS get attacked by groups of pirates.
